Origin of Our Interest

Bicycles for Humanity - Colorado (B4H-Colorado) was formed by Josh Pace, Rodd Granger, and Keenan Gates in September of 2007 to begin to form a bridge of community sharing between the front range of Colorado and healthcare workers serving those in need in Africa. We were inspired by the ability to marry personal interests and the desire to help those most marginalized in society. We operate under Bicycle for Humanity umbrella.

We have a goal to deliver 400 bikes to AFM AIDS Action in Grootfontein, Namibia, a local organization that provides home based care to people living with HIV/AIDS through a network of volunteers. March 2008 is our goal to transport 400-bikes!!!

Background:

Josh, Rodd, and I are close friends who live in Denver, Colorado. We are all passionate about bicycling.

- Josh is an avid cyclist and globetrotter extraordinaire. He has passion for solving big problems with simple solutions. Josh's personal goal is to have grander perspective and understanding of how he fits into the ecosystem.

- Rodd is a gadget geek, with quads of steel. He has passion for keeping perspective in a complex world. Rodd's goal is to expand the mind and soul through the spirit of giving

- Keenan is an outdoor enthusiast. He has passion for exploring the world, meeting new people, and seeking new adventures. Keenan’s personal goal is to make a difference to his family, friends, and his community.
